Territorial Land Acknowledgement
As learners, travellers, and global citizens, we acknowledge the Indigenous Peoples of the lands we inhabit and visit. We acknowledge that we are on traditional territories in Alberta of the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands from time immemorial. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting. We commit to carrying respect for all cultures, past and present, in every community we engage with.
